Journey to Bronze Workshop

Date: Oct 21, 07 at UCCS

Time: 1:00 to 4:30 pm

Cost: $10 for girls

Thank yous to Ms Bobbi, Ms Amanda and Ms Nancy for stepping up to be mentors for the Bronze Award.  To date there are 4 girls signed up to do this.  

 

What is the Bronze Award?  This is the highest award a Jr GS can earn.  To earn this award, the girls will do a project that shows that you understand and live by the Girl Scout Promise and Law.  For more info read pages 202/203 in the Jr Handbook.

 

We started on Art in 3-D, #1 was completed, they made a star instead of a crane.  The stars need to remain in their bag for a future project in Art in 3-D.  Again, girls are encouraged to bring their books so they can keep track of work completed.

 

**Visitors**  Please contact me if you know of a girl wanting to join Girl Scouts.  At this time we are not taking new girls into our troop.  It's embarrassing to tell a girl we can't take her.  Thank you for your assistance and understanding.
